The STEFF range of feeders has been manufactured since 1969 - more than 300,000 units have been produced to date. The STEFF 2068 model is designed for feeding window and door friezes, its robust construction and powerful motor guarantee high stability and smooth operation even when feeding long and heavy parts. The six spring-loaded feed wheels ideally distribute the pressure force on the material, two wheels in front of the tool and four behind the tool ensure precise machining of the milled pieces, without leading edges. The advantage of this model is the very slow feed speed of 2 m/min, which is particularly suitable for larger material removal. An additional stand can be supplied as an accessory.
The eight fixed speeds, forward and reverse, can be changed as follows: the first two speeds are achieved by changing the gears behind the gearbox cover and the next two speeds are changed by turning the switch lever on the double-wound motor (1400-2800 rpm) and a manual lever in the gearbox gear shift allows the operator to double the number of speeds and thus adjust the feed rate. The finish of the overspray paint is very durable. The interchangeable gears are cast, chemically cured and hardened. The feeding device is equipped with an adjustable universal stand that allows the machine to be set in any position.

The cemented and ground worm shaft of the motor guarantees perfect transmission of the bronze gear in the aluminium gearbox (BR/AL UNI 5275).
The lubricating oil used in the gearbox (type Mellana 150IP or similar) ensures optimum lubrication throughout its service life
